My appointment as India Goodwill Ambassador for Rio will create a buzz and bring more viewers

Salman Khan is appointed as India's Goodwill Ambassador for the Rio Olympics Games 2016 and much is being talked about it. Some sportspersons have come in light and criticising the idea of appointing any Bollywood person as the Goodwill ambassador.



On that account, Salman hardly bothers any criticism and he puts his view by saying that Olympic Games need recognition in India. People see very less Olympic and there is need to boost the viewers to watch more Olympic Games. He said, ‘Olympics are not that well covered and watched in India like in other countries. So, when somebody comes to support the players, it makes them feel good and work harder. They become more inspired and dedicated. Having someone like me helps in creating a buzz about the Olympics.”
