Salman Khan Overshadows Resident Evil's Milla Jovovich and director Paul WS Anderson

One can no longer underestimate the popularity of Bollywood stars as they can even get more attention over Hollywood stars. This is exactly what happened in 2011 when Salman Khan accidentally shared the same hotel with director Paul WS Anderson and his wife, the Resident Evil star, Milla Jovovich.

In a recent interview, Milla recounts her experience meeting the Bollywood actor and producer Khan. She said that when they turned up in the hotel, there were more than 100 fans outside. Expecting that these fans were waiting for her, she went out of the car and prepared to greet them. To her surprise, no one paid attention to her or her husband.

Milla remembers how confused she felt when Salman Khan walked by them and everyone started shouting. She didn't know Khan at that time, but soon discovered that he’s the biggest Bollywood star of this generation.

The 41-year old actress admits that she felt embarrassed then. However, when she thinks about it now, she just thinks it's funny.

Milla's husband, director Anderson shares his thoughts on Bollywood movies. He thinks that they are unique in a way as they don’t push western values in their stories. Maybe, Bollywood movies’ ethnicity is what makes it popular even in western countries.
